Linus

Linus' Dad

Linus has a wonderful home and a great dad. When Linus came to us, he had heartworm disease. Several friends helped Linus afford treatment. Jim Randazzo, Linus' dad, even made a donation toward his treatment when he adopted Linus. Jim has experience being owned by Siberians. And Linus indoctrinated him right away to his escapades by sailing over his tall fence. Pet Harbor found the perfect home for Linus and the perfect match with Jim & Linus.

Other Friends of Linus

Rosy Raisa

This is the stunning Raisa, formerly known as Bambi. She was adopted from Pet Harbor. The people she owns have become volunteers and constant donors and some of our favorite people. In fact, we drafted Anne, Raisa's mom, as our new Fund-Raising Chairperson, and Bill, Raisa's grandpa, as our Resident Comedian. When Anne saw Linus' eyes, she fell in love. So Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hick and Anne have become friends of Linus.

Three Musketeers

The bed bugs in the picture are Nikki Mongan (Akita), Polly Mongan (English Cocker Spaniel), and Robbie Mongan (Collie). They're the beautiful babies who own Jackie Mongan, a person who sends terrific e-mail attachments. Some very special people in an accounting office in Pennsylvania contributed to Linus' veterinary expense. Those friends of Linus are Jake Kaufman, Paul Luka, Ron Kearns, and the Mongan family.

Most Loved Dog in the World

Tundra is the most loved Alaskan Malamute in the entire world. Mike Murphy adopted Tundra from Richmond Siberian Rescue. Not only has he been the world's best dad to Tundra, but he contributed to Linus' care as well. Mike drove halfway across the state just so we could meet his wonderful fur-kid. We were astonished to see in person what a totally devoted dad he is. Mike just went through a tremendous scare with Tundra having bloat. Thankfully, Tundra & Mike made it through alive & well.

As good as he is handsome!

Pennsylvania must be filled with animal people. Matt Palguta has become a father! Frost, a great dog who enjoys owning Matt, is a rescue Siberian. Pet Harbor is looking forward to hearing more love stories and "too-good-to-be-a Siberian" tales from Matt. It was so nice to open the envelope Matt sent for Linus because not only did he send a check, but he also sent a "Hang in there" Peanuts card. And yes, this Linus was named after that Linus.
