Okay. I know you are going, "Who the heck are you!" I know it's crazy, but I actually live with Queen Chula, and she hasn't eaten me yet! Can you
believe it? Well, the Queen herself is too busy sun bathing and told me
to write and let you know how great she is!
(You can read Chula's (The Queen's) biography.)

Some of you all may not remember her. She wasn't even around long enough
to be renamed!
She just paced the fence line at her foster home and had
nothing to do with the pack. Well, that just wouldn't do. So she was
placed in a different foster home, where she was the only dog. And that
sealed the deal. Her foster mom, now mom, fell absolutely in love with
her and decided to adopt her. Now this is totally against Pet Harbor
guidelines, but Queen Chula made a perfect match with Queen Kim that they
couldn't resist such a pair! Plus, she had to promise to continue fostering other dogs. :)
Chula came to rescue in the first place because her former owners could not keep her in the yard & she escaped, crossed a highway, and chased horses. Not once but several times. And then she ate the small dog next door. Don't worry. The dog lived, but she really hurt him.
I know. I know. You wonder how in the world I got here. Well Chula's mom met someone and fell in love. He just happened to own me, a Min Pin! Not just any min pin, but a very small, 6-pound, Min Pin. Everyone was very worried how we would interact and whether or not I would still be alive after the meeting. Well, obviously things worked out. She never once tried to kill me. A little nip here or there to keep me in my place, but, hey, I'm still alive. That's what matters! Its a miracle! Not only did I survive her, but her cousins Reddy Mac and Holly Jolly, two other Pet Harbor alum and huskies! (Click to see their success stories, too.) I'm a very lucky Min Pin named Larry.

Anyway, back to the Queen ( who is nipping me to get back to her). She is doing
wonderfully. Her mommy spoils her rotten and gets her anything she wants.
Beds, treats, outings, a good run off leash. Oh, wait. That running off
leash was an accident and scared mom half to death. Mom's friend wasn't
thinking one day and just stood with the front door open! Queen Chula had the
perfect opportunity for her run. She hadn't had a good run off leash in
about a year, and she was gone. I was so worried about her, I didn't know
where she was. Mom and Dad and all the friends, and even my Aunt Amy were
called in for the chase. Well, of course the Queen ran circles around
them, but they got her in the end, or should I say a car got her in the
end. Don't worry she was just fine, just very very scared, so scared that
when the friends tried to grab her, she bit them! She was very sorry
afterwards, though, and gave them some love. Mom and Dad took Chula to the
vet just to make sure she was okay and the vet asked, "Are you sure this
dog was hit by a car???" So yes, the Queen gave everyone a scare that day,
but all is back to normal now.

Unfortunately for me, Reddy and Holly moved out of the house and moved across the street with their mom (Aunt
Amy). So Chula has tons of energy that she tries to take out on me and play,
but I just can't play that rough. I'll break! So Reddy and Holly come
over to visit and get into trouble, but that's a story for another day.
All in all, the Queen is living it up! She gets everything she ever wants,
kinda like now. She's due for her massage on the sun deck. Gotta run since
I'm the one that has to give it to her. These chicken legs are good for
something.
Oh, before I go, Chula wants to thank Pet Harbor for rescuing her and giving her such a great home!
Much thanks,
Larry the Min Pin with supporting roles by Queen Chula and Mom & Dad (Kim & Jacob)
