Hi All,
Remember me? It's Cindy! But I don't go by that name anymore. I'm Natasha now, or Tasha for short.
Pet Harbor rescued my siblings and me from a kill shelter in the middle of Virginia. Our mom was a purebred Siberian Husky. Nobody knew what dad was. We looked like purebred puppies, but the more we grew, some of my siblings look like they have German Shepherd Dog in them. When they write their success pages, you can read about them, too. They were all adopted by different families. Their names are Crisci (now Natasha also!), Claudia (now Chachka), and Costello.
My mom and dad don't worry about me too much because I have bad back legs and can't jump, but don't think for a second that I'm handicapped.
We live in West Virginia now, and I am having a grand time there with my wonderful family! My parents love us so much they have even helped transport some other Siberian Huskies to Pet Harbor so they can be saved, too.

(You can read my biography.)
I was adopted in May of 2003 at only 12 weeks old, and it has been a ride, let me tell ya. First I went home with both a big brother (Lakota) AND big sister (Nikita). Lakota has since gone on to the Rainbow Bridge to wait for mom and dad. Nikita was a Pet Harbor dog at one time. You can read her success story, too! Nikita was almost like a mom for me.
I love going outside and could spend hours out there as long as I have people within sight. But when it gets dark and I'm all alone, I get scared. I love water. So be careful when you get the hose out. I'll run into the spray. My dad even bought me a pool, but he only puts it out in the summer.
My family has grown over the last year and I couldn't be happier, except during feeding time. But I always get my way, or I complain until they give me what I want. My mom says I'm spoiled. I get to go on car rides and love to stick my face out the window.
I chase squirrels and rabbits like anyone and front paws are plenty strong.
