Hi. I'm formerly Gilbert, now known as Ramses the Great (a.k.a. Ramses). I am the beloved Domestic Short Hair Feline of the Koedam family. I was adopted
from Pet Harbor Rescue at approximately 3 months of
age while my now parents were volunteering for Pet Harbor. Almost 6
years later, they couldn't image life without me.

I am the lone cat among a pack of dogs. However,
I have fit into my family so perfectly. I like
to sleep next to my dogs, play with, and clean them,
too. I take it upon myself to train all foster
dogs/new members of the household. 
I also help
the dogs gain access to all things on the counter that
may be nice to eat and/or chew, aid in guarding
the front door from strangers, and help police the
furniture (keeping it dog-free).
My favorite pastimes
are window watching, sleeping, eating, sunbathing, and
helping mom with her chores (making beds; typing on
the computer; laundry; and, of course, dinner, too).
Although I am physically classified a feline, I am no doubt the family's "Top dog," and they couldn't have found
such a perfect best friend without the aid of Pet
Harbor Rescue. For that we (my family and me) are forever grateful to
them.
