Dear Pet Harbor Recue,
So I got my new pet in June 2003. His name was Robert. He had never met anyone like me. Boy, was he in for a suprise. When we finally got home, I took him for a run. I say "run" because we never walked anywhere.
Every once in a while we go to obedience training. I have completed basic and advanced training with TWO perfect attendance awards! I also won best trick in basic training for my ability to shake hands.
Everywhere I seem to go people seem to love me. Everyone thinks I'm just so pretty. From the vet to my neighbors, they all love me.
I love my pet Robert. We have done some really cool things together. We went to the University of Maryland to raise money for my buddies at Pet Harbor.
Kodah
(You can read my biography.)
I always ran and he tried to keep up. We have great times. Like when we play in the back yard and he throws the ball and I watch him go get it. Odd, we haven't played that game in a while. We still have lots of fun though. My favorite times are when we watch TV. We just sit on the couch and lie around. That's right. I am a 45-lb lap dog.
I know. I know. I'm a star.
I know all my neighbors well because sometimes I like to leave and visit them. I never really wander off. I just run around and meet people. Then I see Robert in the car and jump in and go home.
Apparently I was very popular with the ladies, but who can fault them? I'm just the cutest, sweetest dog ever. We spend all the time in the world together. He's my best friend.
UPDATE: June 28, 2005
From Robert: I first got involved with Pet Harbor about two years ago when I first was looking to get a dog. I was very lucky to get the doggie I got.
Kodah was the best husky you could ask for. We would sit down on the couch and watch TV for hours or go for long jogs. She always had energy for anything. Even running away! Boo! She got away about three times just to watch me chase her around. I don't even think she really wanted to leave. She just loved watching me get mad chasing her around. She would gallop around looking back at me with this big smile on her face. Good times. Kodah was my best friend. Unfortunately she came down with liver disease and there was nothing we could do for her. But her spirit will live on.
