Hi everyone! Do you remember me? I'm sure you do because if you've met
me, you've loved me.
(You can read my biography.)
Mom takes Sal and me to Congressional Cemetery at least twice a day.
I'm still getting the hang of walking on a leash. I can do it, but why
act all restrained when there are great smells out there? In the house
I just like to snuggle. I picked the best spot on the sofa to be all
mine. I figured that I could leave hair all over the cushions and no
one else would want the place. My ploy worked! Life is good now,
thanks to Pet Harbor!!
Leo Topping (and Sarah, Sal, Laverne, and Shirley)
We have moved! My family & I live in the Pacific Northwest now.

This is from Leo Topping (proud adopted dog of Sarah Topping):
I've been living in Washington, D.C. for a while now. I wasn't too sure I'd like my new home at first (It took 10 minutes to get me in the front door and, even then, I did a belly crawl), but I now love it! I came home with submissive urination issues because there are some mean people in the world. It only took me about a week to figure out that I don't need to do that any longer.
I have an older brother named Sal who adores me. Well, when I bite
his
tail or body slam him to get him to play, he gets a little upset. But
I'm sure he adores me!! Why else would he let me carry around his
prized stuffed duckie? There are also two cats in the house. One of
them can be mean but the other one loves to play.
It
is sooooooo great! I had to be on leash the first two times I was there
but soon learned that if I come when called, I get to run free. I love
to meet any and all dogs and try to get everyone in a game of chase. If
that doesn't work, I'm happy to chase squirrels.
There are some great
people there, too. Mom has had some of her friends teaching me that.
When I first started going there I wouldn't let most people, especially
men, touch me. Now I don't believe that any pup can have too much
attention! If you're in the vicinity, it's your job to pet me. Oh, and
you should remember to bring treats, too. I love 'em!

UPDATED UPDATE: Since my mom took me in, I have changed so much. I am such a happy-go-lucky dog. I just crack my mom up. I love to roll around on the ground and talk. As a matter of fact, a roll in some fish guts at the cemetery brought on my first bath. I wasn't too sure about the whole process until my mom asked me to
shake at the end. I thought that was great fun and proceeded to run
through the house shaking all over everything. I used to hate going
out in the rain. It seemed like when I went in the backyard while it
was raining, I thought he had to stay out there. I now can't wait for
it to rain because I get towel-dried after we go out. Everyone who
sees me laughs because I have such a good time acting like a dork. My
favorite game now is jumping into my spot on the bed (complete with my
head on the pillow!) and pretending to be asleep (eyes squished shut and
tail thumping), hoping Mom won't make me move. Sal loves having me
around - I was a perfect fit to round out the family. Mom's boys (Sal and me) are
quite the pair. Thank you again for letting me come into my mommy's life.
