Howdy! You might remember me as Mercedes, but I am now known as Cheyenne. (You can read my biography.) I was not with Pet Harbor very long, but I am well known as the cute one on the donation tin. When my mommy saw me, she knew I needed to go home with her. She even called my daddy and had him leave work early to come see me. Needless to say, I went home with them that very night in May 2001.

My Happy FamilyEver since I came to live with my new mommy and daddy, my favorite hobbies have been; sitting on mommy's lap, wrestling with daddy on the floor, and playing with the former queen of the house, my kitty sister, Sassy. (I still let her think she is queen... sometimes!)

SassyI am a very happy pup now and my birthday is in just a few weeks! My mom and dad love to take me out to the park where I can run and constantly find new things to sniff and roll in. I like licking feet, sitting in laps, and boxing with Sassy. She thinks she is the only one allowed to have any fun. Just the other day though, my mom caught Sassy and me taking a nap on the bed in the guest room.

New Playmate!Naptime!I got to visit my friends from Pet Harbor just a few weeks ago. I was very nervous and afraid that my mom and dad were going to leave me behind. I kept trying to tell them that it was the kitty that knocked over the garbage can and got out those yummy bones. When I got to see everybody though (plus I got a treat!) I remembered how nice everyone was. I got to run around and try to play with everybody! Now I am just trying to convince my mom and dad to give me someone else to play with- other than the cat!

CheyenneWatching my Boy WalkI do have a new playmate now, mommy and daddy brought home Justin in May of 2002. He's not quite as fun as another dog or kitty friend, but I think he has real potential. He has even gotten so he likes to rub my ears- sort of- more like he grabs them, but I love him anyway and he likes my kisses.
