Adoption Day(You can read my biography.)

Well, mommy told me it was time for my success story. It's hard to believe I've only been here since November 30, 2005. It seems like a lifetime. I came to Pet Harbor from a kill shelter on the western side of Virginia.

I love my mommy and let her know it every time she walks in the door with a very big and loud baroooooo. Mommy and I recently moved out of my aunt's house, or should I say Chula's house, but, lucky for me, it was just across the street. So Chula, Holly, Larry and I still play all the time. Actually, Daddy took Mommy away for her birthday this past December, and Holly and I got to spend the whole weekend with Larry and Chula! I will have to admit we did run around all crazy and Holly got us all in trouble, but they couldn't stay mad at us long. How could you with all our big blue eyes and my boopy ears? Yes, I have a new nickname-Boopy Doop. We really don't know where it came from but one day it just stuck.

White Reddy MacHowling in the ChapelAny who . . . I am finally a red and white Siberian Husky again and not just a white. My Thyroid seems to be under control, and Mommy and Daddy seem to be remembering to give me this little pill twice a day, which is a miracle since Mommy can't even remember to take her own pills! Well, she says I'm such a good boy because I take it just like a treat, no teasing or coaxing required! The only thing the vet wants me to do is slim down a little. So Mommy is trying to figure out how to do so. I only get a cup and a half a day, and I am starting to exercise. So this has come to quite a challenge for her. She's blaming it on my thyroid, I think it's all the leftovers I get since Holly can't have any due to her sensitive stomach. Who would of thought Ms. Evilness would have anything sensitive in her body!

My turn to speak! When Holly and I moved into our new place, I surprised everyone! I'm the dominant one! Hahaha! No one every thought that sweet old me could be dominant, but I surprised everyone! Other than that, Holly and I get along great. I'm really glad that I brought Mommy and Daddy together and gained a sister out of it. She's teaching me how to pull and teaching me what this gee and haw mean, I'm slowly getting it. Mommy and Daddy recently bought some bikes and springers so now we get to go run and run and run some more, which I love!

My FamilyOh, see that picture of Holly & me as bride & groom? We won the Halloween contest with those costumes. I guess you could say I really did marry her because we can't stand being separated from one another. And also I tell her what to do. Like any other wife, sometimes she listens. Sometimes she doesn't. Sometimes she tells me what to do.

Hiding from the camera And guess what? Mommy and Daddy are going to get married soon after Auntie Kim & Uncle Jacob get married. I hope when they do, they will let Holly and me wear those bride & groom costumes again. After all, who wants to see humans get dressed up? It's all about the dogs, isn't it?

I would have to say all in all its been a great time! I still get in trouble every now and again, but what husky doesn't! All right. Well, Mommy's gotta get to work, which means it's crate time with all my (stuffed animal) babies. Until next time, BAROOOOOOO!!!
