(You can read my biography.)
I was a jumper and loved to jump the six-foot fence after deer in the wooded area beside our backyard.
You can read more about me in Anaya's success story.
Trudi Kloke, a.k.a. Trudi Wooty Girlie Baby Doll
I was an answer to prayer. Not only am I a delightful playmate for Anaya but one of her two other littermates. What joy I give the family. My 'I Got Ya Day' was August 2nd, 2002, almost two months after my sister Anaya was adopted. I was nine months and a week. Up front and personal, that's me, and Go, Go, Go!!! I protect my little Anaya but make sure I'm in the lead while walking and getting treats. I love Begg'n Strips and Milkbone Training Treats filled with marrow.
We've been having the training treats every morning when Mama brushes us as we're blowing our coat and it's taken us a long time to allow Mama to brush us. I love people and other doggies. Since my twin Anaya is shy, I'm the one who goes up to strangers when we meet them on a walk. I have a great big grin and am as friendly as can be. If there are other dogs in the vicinity, I whine for them. When at home, I come and check on Papa and Mama frequently, then go back outside or to one of my favorite spots in the house. I can't bear to be apart from Anaya and howl until she's back with me.
Papa raised that section of the fence two feet and not seeing the deer has kept me from jumping the fence since then. Also, Anaya would nip at my ankles when she thought I was about to jump. Those five times that I jumped the fence scared Mama and Papa. The first time I followed the deer to a neighbor's house that had a doggie sitter and whined at their doorstep. She let me in and called Mama and Papa - that was 5:00 a.m. I found Mama and Papa a good 'sitter' to stay with us at home while they went for thirteen days to Germany this past January. We must have gotten lots of attention, because there weren't any signs of 'chewing' when Papa and Mama returned.
I love to go for walks which I'll be getting more of now since Papa has finally taught Mama to take Trudi and I both at the same time. I love to get in the car and go for rides but have gotten carsick at times. We spent last Thanksgiving and Christmas in Sherwood Forest, Maryland with family and had a great time. This Father's Day we're taking a trip to the D.C. area of Maryland to visit family. I know that we are loved and love our adopted parents and thank Pet Harbor for putting us together.
