Unfortunately, my parents refuse to allow me to have a cell phone. :-)
I adore my dad, who was originally not happy about getting another dog. However, I won him over, and he has decided we were probably meant for each other after all ;-) .
Not a picky eater. I like people, but it is very much a roulette game with other dogs. Some I like, and with some others I will attempt assertive behavior.
I have one K-9 companion, Disco, adopted from the Tails of the Tundra Siberian Husky Rescue Labor Day Weekend 2003.
See my great New Year's Day photo? And see my great Christmas card? Wasn't that special that my family made me the center of attention for the card? I am the Diva, after all.
Zandra
(You can read my biography.) Remember me, Zandra? Zandra, a.k.a. Z-Girl, Happy Girl, HG, the H (Haych). I am named after a 9/11 Hero. There is no way my family would ever change my name!!!!! See hte picture of me with the big smile? That's from when I was in a kill shelter. That smile is because I knew I was going to the safety of rescue and then on to my forever home! The picture on the left is my matted fur. When I came from the shelter, I came with gigantic mats. That one really big mat Pet Harbor cut out all in one piece. Why people can't take care of their pets is beyond me. At least I have a home now where I'll always get the care I deserve!

I was adopted the last weekend in February 2005. My birthday is approximately March 25, 1999. I am alive and well and was laying on the floor right behind my mom's chair as she was typing this success story for me.
Here is a picture of Mom & me when we came to visit Pet Harbor after I had been in my home for a year. That was so great I got to see everybody & made Pet Harbor tickled with glee to see me so happy!
I love a good hike. I do not beg, hate to be brushed, or have my molting fur plucked, and like stuffed toys. Not really much of an outdoors gal, prefer the house and must be with Terry (my dad) at all times. He works evenings, and I will consent to be with Mom during the times he is gone.

Sadly, this past Flag Day, June 14, Buddy, our 16-year old distinguished elderly gentleman brother and very handsome black & white Siberian Husky, went to the Rainbow Bridge. My parents adopted Buddy from the Associated Humane Society of Newark, New Jersey in 1995. He was close to a perfect Siberian Husky with a great sense of humor. My whole family misses him very much, both the K-9s and the Humans :'(
